Education for a better job, a better life, a better future.

The Chancellor’s Award for Leadership in Philanthropy was created in 2006 to honor leading philanthropists from each of Virginia’s 23 community colleges as well as the system’s statewide foundation. The 2013 class of philanthropy leaders contributed a combined total of $17 million dollars to Virginia’s Community Colleges.

Many thanks to the sponsors who make this program possible, including Wells Fargo, Dominion Resources, Alpha Natural Resources, Froehling & Robertson, Holmes, Riley and Associates of Merrill Lynch, Tiffany & Co., and the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education.
